My everyday makeup

Hello there! This is my first beauty post ever so I really don't know what I'm talking about or doing but I was in a blogging mood this morning and thought it might be interesting to do something more beauty related. I've had a few comments on my makeup over the past few months so here it is: I use the Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer, Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation, Clinique Stay-Matte Sheer Pressed Powder and a Natural Collection Blush in 'Pink Cloud' for my skin and cheeks. This never really changes, although I only bought the foundation recently after seeing it on all the favourites of 2012 beauty lists. I don't find it adds too much to the overall finish of my skin, but it does last a lot longer than just using powder.
For my eyes I've been playing around with this MUA palette recently, it's not fantastic but for £4 you can't really bash it. I then use the Collection 2000 Felt Tip Liner and Skylash Mascara for a winged eye and long lashes. I wear a different lipstick everyday but the Kate for Rimmel in 'Wine' is my favourite thing ever.
As you can tell I don't spend a lot of money on makeup. The Clinique powder is the only thing that's a bit more high range and I get that for my birthday every year. I don't think it's a bad thing though, I am a student and sometimes I'm shocked at the amount beauty bloggers spend, especially when testing out new products. My makeup philosophy is pretty simple, if you find something you like, stick with it.

  1. You're so pretty! I have the Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation recently too, but I felt like it was breaking me out a bit, so I've stopped using it for the mo - such a shame because I love it!

    1. Thanks lovely! The Rimmel foundation is very heavy so I'm not surprised that happened, I don't think I'll use it come summer!

    1. Oh thankyou so much, you're so lovely! I think the cheapy stuff works just as well most of the time, I'm shocked the amount some bloggers will spend!
