A spare afternoon

Aloha! It's been a very long time since I posted some of my artwork, but I went to a life drawing class last week and wanted to show you what I produced! We had 5 minute, 10 minute and 20 minutes poses to draw and that was it, so when I got home I finished some of the shaping and got out the watercolours. I'm very lucky to have this beautiful watercolour palette, my mum is an artist and I fished it out of her studio a few years ago and she let me keep it! I did art as a subject at school but I hated working to deadlines and briefs, so now it is a much-loved hobby, that doesn't work out perfect every time but I enjoy it nonetheless.
Link me to any of your artwork!

  2. Like everything about these - style, colours, tones etc... You should show your work more often :) I know what you mean about deadlines, I hated that aspect. I found it started to make art into a chore for me which wasn't good. Thankfully after university I've began to embrace it much more!

    1. Oh thankyou :) no me neither, I always had to fight really hard to do my own projects and even then they kept restricting everything, so pointless!
