All things crafty

Aloha! I'm off to London tomorrow for a few days, so wanted to do a quick post before I go! Unfortunately coming home from campus at 4 o'clock means there is zero natural light to show off my little creations, but hopefully the photography isn't too crap! These bits and bobs are just a few things I've made over the past week or so - they are my answer to stress so they have a very important purpose to me. Feeling christmassy already I made two decorations for the tree: the little tartan birdhouse and the felt bauble. I bought all the materials from the arts and crafts section at Jarrolds (big department store in Norwich) but they are things I've seen everywhere. I also went on a field trip to a printing museum where they were restoring old books, and when I researched into it I found it is pretty easy to bind your own book so I had a go! This is only my first attempt, but I'm going to fill it with my poems from my coursework which is a portfolio entitled 'Apples and Pears' (as you can well see!). My mean flatmates take the piss out of me for doing this kind of stuff (and popping it round the flat) but hopefully you enjoy having a little look!
