How to make body scrub

Hello! It's my best friend's birthday on sunday, and all she specified in the present department was 'make me something'. So of course I ventured to the internet, and found some great craft and DIY blogs to get some ideas. I'm going to make her a little goody bag with lots of homemade stuff that hopefully she'll treasure, and I started today with homemade lemon and rose body scrub! I got the idea from Lexy Levin and it was ridiculously easy to make! I hope she'll like it!
You will need: enough course salt to fill whatever container you're going to use, lemon zest/lemon extract, olive oil, yellow food colouring and rose water (both optional) and a pretty container, mason
jars and jam jars work well!
How to make: 1. Grate your lemon getting as much of the zest as possible
2. Mix the salt, lemon zest, a drop of lemon extract, a good lashing of rose water (it's quite weak against the lemon scent), yellow food colouring and about 4/5 tablespoons of olive oil in a bowl.. and that's it really, nothing too complicated!
3. Add to your container! I used a Bonne Maman jam jar that we had lying around, I boiled off the label and added my own on the lid.
