Elena Kalis

Whilst doing my Art A-Level a few years ago a stumbled across Elena Kalis's underwater photography. Her images are among my absolute favourites. There is something enchantingly horrifying to me about water, I have a phobia of the sea and deep water, but I think this fuels a curiosity, and it always seems to be part of my creative expression. The Serenity short story in particular uses Florence and the Machine's What The Water Gave Me (I think she has a similar obsession) and images of water to build the basis for plot.
